"World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is an annual event that takes place on the last Saturday of April, to promote the related martial art disciplines of Tai Chi and Qigong across the world."

 

"Starting in 1999, the movement saw people in up to 80 countries take part in Tai Chi and Qigong activities to help foster a greater understanding of the art forms, as well as the medical and spiritual benefits that they bring."

TAI CHI BY THE WEEK

THURSDAYS 10:30 AM we practice at Baby Beach Park in Dana Point Harbor. 

(Open to newcomers, no fee (see map below) 

FRIDAYS 8:30 AM We practice at Aliso Beach.

Open to newcomers, no fee (see map below).  Followed by coffee and conversation at Epiphanies. Bring a cup of tea or coffee, join us on the pool deck above the beach.

Water seeps into cracks in granite,

then, at night as that water freezes,

it expands to split 

even the hardest granite. 

The result gives us rock formations that have become familiar icons like Half Dome on the right.
